This overland journey from Madrid to Shanghai for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo traverses 17,000 km in just 4 months, crossing 17 countries and stopping at more than 45 cities where we come across friends and stories that help us reconstruct the human and geographical landscape that separates us from the Far East. We stop at legendary places as the Venice of Marco Polo, the Samarkand of Madrid born Ruiz de Clavijo, cross the legendary Silk Road to finish in contemporary coastal China, real engine of the country's economic boom and organizer of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

An epic journey full of humor and dynamism, told with historical accuracy and a careful photographic work to be projected in the Madrid Expo 2010 pavilion, supported by Casa Asia and the Madrid City Council.
